Motor launch obstructing Club apron
Erik Meyers

I'm not sure why the practice of placing launches on the PBC apron adjacent the downstream singles and crew boats (8's) aisle continues during the active rowing months, but the presence of the launch is major inconvenience. Those who need to wash off their small boats after use and those seeking to take their singles out of or return to the racks in the downstream single aisle are forced to maneuver around the elevated launch and others using the slings to rinse off their boats.

Would the program whose launch this is please remove it? I see no reason if its out of service that it cannot be put on the extended (upstream) PBC floating dock to which functioning launches are attached. It's great that the 8s and other crew boats can get in and out of the boat bays despite the launch; however, those programs are not being thoughtful of other members who need to deal with the defunct launch.

Thanks,

Erik Meyers
