Five Junior Athletes from Potomac Boat Club Invited to USRowing U19 High Performance Winter Camp

Potomac Boat Club is proud to announce that five of its junior athletes have been invited to attend the prestigious USRowing U19 High Performance Winter Camp held in Chula Vista, CA, a key step in the process for national team identification. The USRowing U19 Winter Camp brings together athletes from across the country and an important step in the long-term development of young rowers, with the potential to secure spots on future national teams and international competitions. The athletes selected are:

Tony Madigan of Wakefield High School, Arlington, VA
Mira Meek of Wakefield High School, Arlington, VA
Kenzie (Kensington) Ruhl of McLean High School, McLean, VA
Blythe Stealy of West Springfield High School, Springfield, VA
Daniel Reilly of Georgetown Day School, Washington, DC

USRowing has extended invitations to 60 girls and 60 boys to their winter camp. “We are thrilled to see these five athletes receive this incredible opportunity,” said Carol Dinion, head juniors coach.
